WOMEN: is it ok to skip the engagement ring and go straight to the wedding band?

I don’t know what your thoughts are with this but i’m wondering if it is ok to propose my gf with a wedding band instead of an engagement ring? Because i really can’t afford the engagment ring. Please let me know what you girls think. Thanks.

I think if she truly loves you, you could propose with a ring out of a gumball machine!! =) I say go for it!!

I need a woman silver wedding band where can I find one?

I need to get my fiance a woman plain silver wedding band. Ive looked everywhere, she asked for silver its so cheap that no jewelery stores or even target are selling them! Id like it so i can have a jewler engrave something in it. Does anyone know where I can get one? Ive tried looking in a lot of places.

If you don’t find what you are looking for, please contact me at the below link. I make a lot of wedding bands and a sterling silver plain band should be no problem for anyone to do for you. The engraving should be able to be done as the same time as the ring is fabricated.

One word of caution. . . make certain your sterling band is FABRICATED and not CAST. A wedding band, because it is worn 24/7, needs all the strength possible. A fabricated ring is substantially stronger than a cast one.

Engagement Ring & Wedding Band – Question for the Women?

I’m just curious. Would you rather have your bf select your engagement ring & wedding band for you and surprise you with it? Or would you prefer to select your own?

And why? Please explain your choice.

I want him to choose the engagement ring because I want to be surprised when he proposes. My boyfriend knows me so I know that he will choose something that I will love!

Why do many people, men and women, wear a wedding band on both of their second fingers (like Archie Bunker)?

Maybe they weren’t sure which one it REALLY goes on, so they use both to make sure they’ve got it covered!!!
Truthfully I have no clue and have never heard of that before. Are you sure they’re both wedding bands, and the right handed ring isn’t just a regular ring???
